(Remember Hachiko? Yeah, a little bit like that.)Despite this game being as short and simple as it is (and despite the occasional bug and grammar mistake), this game still managed to make me tear up. I have a dog of my own whom I love with all of my heart, and the fact that the situation in this game is something that happens daily to loyal pets like her breaks my heart. Taking that issue and turning it into an interactive experience could help raise awareness about the problem, which is what I hope this game will succeed in doing, regardless of its ephemerality. That being said: if you ever plan to adopt a pet, please visit your local shelters. There are lots of abandoned four-legged friends in need of homes. Or, if you don't want a pet but you have some money to spare, donate to shelters (or legitimate animal charities). And please - treat animals with respect and kindness.. A heavy game that brought me to tears. Brilliantly written and if you are a dog owner this is a must play. You'll hug your dog after, guaranteed.https:\/\/youtu.be\/UsOW5jEiBs4. great story but could of had a bit more to do in the game. So i bought this on a whim whilst looking for games that focus on narrative and honestly i was moved by this game. Although short and designed as more of an interactive story than a game I believe that the intended message is loud and clear. I got as far as the storm and couldn't stop crying. The emotions conveyed in this story struck a cord with me as I have a dog I wouldn't dream of parting with.Improvements to the animation wouldn't go amiss and the dream sequences could possibly have my environment assets to add a sense of direction but honestly for the price and the fact that I get the feeling this is a small group project with little funding, i can excuse minor details like that.Overall, the message here is a positive one delivered in a very melancholy fashion. I cried and reflected on the suffering animals must go through in situations similar to that depicted in this game. 7\/10 - Where was Jack when we needed him?. Tiny game with a lot of heart. It makes us think about our pets and makes us want to cuddle them. Emotional story that'll make you cherish your pets.. 2\/10.Pros: Cute doge. Cons: Bugged game - can only play in full screen not windowed mode.2. If you alt tab it freezes the game. 3. The game has no save function. You've got to beat this in 1 go baby. 4. Achievements are broken. A single play thru unlocked 6\/8 achievements. Starting a second play thru resets the achievements back to 0. 5. Overpriced. For 3.99 USD you'd figure the game would be longer than 30-40 minutes, or good, or not a bugged piece of a software. If it's on sale for 50 cents or less, go for it, otherwise you'd be better off hitting the Taco Bell breakfast menu and hoping for the best. 6. I feel more betrayed than the dog who left out in the hurricane to die by his owner (Jack or David, depending on your ingame choices.). not a super entertaining game but definitely a good story-line.. This is likely the saddest "gaming" experience I've ever had. I say "yes" to recommending the game only because it was a powerful experience, for me, but honestly unless you just want to feel sad for a while I can't actually recommend you play it.
